Does overpowered mean easy?

I was having a conversation on whether or not vayne is easy to play just because she is overpowered. He thinks she is overpowered but not easy to play.

What do you all think? Does overpowered = easy?

Technically, no, over powered means overly powerful not easy to play. However, most people assume anything that is OP is easy to play, because the term OP is usually used in lower ELOs where everyone thinks everyone is easy to play.

You could argue that Azir was OP in proplay in his prime, but that didn't make him easy to play. It also depends on if the player is good or not at that kind of champion, or if they can easily pick up the playstyle.

They are not mutually inclusive, however, there is a correlation between the ease at which the player has to execute profitable play and the balance at which the champion is at.

Not inherently. Being overpowered means having a total level of power that is undue and more than what standard. One may argue that being overpowered with a character may make a specific thing easier (e.g. having more damage makes it easier to do X damage) but that does not mean that it is easier to perform with said character. A character may be difficult while also having an unrelated level of power that doesn't have anything to do with how technically difficult to play. Or what makes a character overpowered may be difficult to perform. A character may have an over-powered attack combination with their super in a situation, but that combination may be difficult to use in that situation. Similarly, a character may be overpowered, but the way they are overpowered may only be significant at a high level of play.

Vayne can be played at a high skill level but at a low skill level she pretty much does 80% of the same thing and carries just the same.

1st time Vayne got quadra, I was doing like 9 trillion damage per hit I spent the rest of the day baffled by Vayne's difficulty level Honestly, who calls Vayne "HARD"
