League isn't fun anymore

Heads up: tilted rant

So, I've been playing since season 3/4 actively, the games back then were so stupid they were actually fun, now as of this patch right now, I don't even know anymore. Whatever I play, however hard I try to win games. It just doesn't happen, you can't solo carry like you used to, this game just punishes you too hard, sometimes there are some random bugs that occur that can affect the outcome of the match.

As an ADC and jungle main who enjoys playing high skill cap champions, this game isn't fun. Getting ahead in the game doesn't feel rewarding enough. I personally enjoy playing Vayne, Lee Sin, Shaco and Kha zix, pretty fun champions. I loved Kleptomancy ezreal when it was an actual thing but nerfing his Q to the ground actually took away of the champions I enjoyed playing, not saying he's extremely weak, but it's just less enjoyable. Sure, Kleptomancy in general got nerfed for all the champions that could use it, but the thing was that its randomness was what made it fun and rewarding.

Since the new runes released I feel like players are PUMMEL'd in terms of being able to have freedom and it constrains creativity, sure there are a lot of combinations in the new Runes Reforged, but after these whole 2 months they feel absolutely stale. The old rooms created space for fun things, such as full AD rune pages where you can get a whopping load of AD level 1 just to cheese someone, as well as being downsides to having no other stats such as armor or magic resist. I do understand this change was to make it easier for newer players to understand the game, but older players like us were also at one point newbies at this game who didn't understand how things worked. I feel the game stooped down to less competitiveness and more tilted towards casual players.

I'm not a very good player as to being Gold V as of the time I'm writing this, I have not enjoyed 80% of the games I played so far out of over a hundred games. Sure, toxicity does exist(even myself sometimes), so do trolls sometimes or even a player who goes afk for no apparent reason or by having poor internet. I feel like match making hasn't changed at all and due to the large population of players, it doesn't feel like you're improving as you climb. It feels as if the opposite is happening, where as teammates are sometimes poorer than they should be at their given division. Being able to reach higher Silver/Low Gold should be screaming, "I know the basics of this game and I know how to play the champions in my preferred champion pool" but yet half the times they do not know how to play them. Support is an interesting role, it's the role you're most likely going to be placed in if the queue times are longer. Some do not mind playing support but sometimes you get douche bags that steal other peoples roles, (Yes, you scum. The one that goes Yasuo/Zed mid cause, "I'm a one trick pony smurf" bullsh*t) and the out of the other 4 players they have to dodge. Being penalized -3lp and a wait time before starting a game.(which gets worse if you have to dodge more than 1 games in a short time period).

As of 8.2, most tanks are absolutely disgusting as is especially the ones that have hard CC, even "bruisers"(I feel like they don't even exist in the game anymore). I feel like the game just gets more agitating cause of the Meta. As for things being Meta, aka the best runes, best champions, best build path thing. It overtakes most of the things that aren't meta, it makes playing off meta absolutely un-enjoyable. You can't run around playing Aatrox(Who even plays him anymore?) trying to win, sure his early game is extremely annoying once, someone just buys a bramble back vest/executioners and a Ninja tabi. You're practically useless. You can be a 7/0 Lee Sin with your core items, T2 boots, Warriors, Black clever and components and still get rolled on by a Sion that has a tabi and sunfire components.

The game just doesn't have the feel to it anymore.
