Attack Move Click issue

So I've recently been exploring Attack Move (AM) and Attack Move Click (AMC). I've been preferring AMC thus far, but I get this strange issue where when I use AMC, I move to the point I AMC'd to without attacking. I thought at first it was just me accidentally using Move Click without realizing it, but when I saw it happened, I spammed AMC and all I did was move about 5 times before actually attacking properly. Now, I know that if there is an enemy within range, you won't move and you'll just attack when you AMC. I was in range of enemies and the AMC still moved me, red cursor and all. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yeah I've noticed this as well. It seems to do the detection from enemies around the cursor instead of your champion. Personally I want it to attack what's closest to me if my cursor isn't over something but if it is, attack that target instead of the closest one if it's in range. I feel like it used to work this way and then randomly changed.

Yeah I gotcha. I've had enemies within range of my champion and my cursor and I still just moved to where I AMC'd. It's kind of annoying because I miss out on all the damage I intended to make
