Player Placements

  1. I think everyone experienced this, but, i played ranked with my friend, we got placed with Jinx and Tristana who were level 31 and level 30 and were unranked. I am lvl 119 and Silver III. So can anyone explain this to me, why do i get placed with people who are 3,5 times lower level than me and are 2 divisions away from mine?

This is not the only time!

I played ranked too, i got placed with Corki support and Zilean jungle, they both had 3/21 and 1/16, when i have seen their accounts, both unranked, lvl 37 and lvl 30. They were premades. So why does this happen? Especially in ranked?

I played normal this time, because this happens more than usual. I got placed with 4 guys that were level: 43, 32, 57 and level 31. And we lost in 13 minutes.

Can someone explain this to me and again, i am level 119.

Tell me if something like this happens to you, because this is the thing that REALLY pisses me off. [sg-shisa]

Basically silver is the starting line for placements... So new accounts all start baseline silver... instead of bronze you know which would make sense. So you have people with 100+ games in silver legit placed with people who are like: what does my R do guys? I bought this champ yesterday.... Welcome to terrible matchmaking/placement decisions. This is just the tip of the crapberg ( you know like ice but a pile of crap).

Level doesnt matter. I'm 100% certain of that.

Level doesn't mean anything. I'm level 74 and have well over 5000 normals games and probably 1000-1500 ranked games over the seasons. The level system was implemented in November so it is only relevant to any games played after November.
