Losing placements ty riot

Why does my keyboard and mouse work fine in the main menu champ select etc but when i get into game my mouse does not work in game at all and the only option i'm left with is to go to the menu and close the game, yet for some reason i can type to people on my freinds list etc so now i got put in low priority que and have lost two of my placemet games ty riot makes sense that you will let me talk to people and close ur game but cant do anything at all in game.
