People not understanding teamfights complaining about everything
One of the most recent threads was about assassins being weak, well let me explain why you are thinking that.
First of all it is harder to play them in full scale fights than in smaller skirmishes, so let's just focus on the former one. ADC's and assassins are played in a similar way, in the sense, that if you are jumping on the enemy team alone, or misposition you are dead. Both should wait for big cooldowns to be blown in the bruiser's/tank's face, and both are for following up. You should know which is the priority target and where to move yourself.
Example: a bruiser is playing with your adc's butthole, you have 2 options :
- A : you jump on their adc
- B: you help killing the bruiser
Both can be a priority target, but that is up to you to decide in that moment.
As an other note, teamcomps matter a lot, you definitely need someone to jump headfirst into their backline to disrupt them before you can engage as an assassin, may that be isolating someone, or providing enough dmg for you to be able to finish it off while they are killing him.
If your teamcomp has no potential for teamfights (frontline and some sort of hard CC from at least 2 champs is a very basic requirement for most soloQ games, may differ for 5 man premades where you just have some sort of crazy comp that does not need this), then it is not the enemy champs being op, it is just a failure on your team's side, learn from it and don't pick an assassin into the wrong teamcomp.
And as a matter of fact, people also like bashing Lee Sin there, may his early game be strong, but as the game goes on in full scale teamfights, he is becoming less and less useful, harder to make plays, just like with assassins.
So strop circlejerking about everything and look at this moustache
