Illoai or Volibear for Top lane

I dont know witch one to choose. Im bronze and i want a toplaner out of these : Illaoi or Volibear (maybe fiora ) and why? thanks.

I love Illaoi top lane but i gurantee if you pick her you will be getting ganked every 2 minutes

Illaio is a good lane bully but honestly I've never seen a good one in team fights....they win lane but their team loses game because of lack of team fighting. Voli has good initiation and definitely hurts...never played him Top lane but I have seen some dominate top lanes for sure. Fiora is definitely strong right now in the meta but not a favorite of mine (though I may try to learn her).

What type of champion do you want to play? I'm assuming a fighter/bruiser since the ones you listed are? Renekton is another good top lane bully too.

I'd say out of the ones you listed either Voli or Fiora...purely out of I think they will have a better impact for their team

Volibear is better as a jungler, and in lane is a great example of a champion who is greatly disadvantaged by virtue of being purely melee. if you bring him top, be prepared to be kited constantly.

Illaoi is a good lane bully provided you're against a low mobility melee champion (like Volibear !) but anyone else will wreck her and she's pretty meh overall.

Fiora is good tho.

probably, she's not very complicated. the most difficult parts of her are landing her riposte, which just takes good reaction time, and quickly hitting all of the vitals on her ult, which honestly isn't really even required to do good on her, but the rest of her kit you can probably get down in like one game.

Try renekton or fiora

Fiora kill tanks split push master solo kill squishes bc of her passive but need practice to be good at parrying

Renekton better tank and lane bully Mobile tank and does dmg

Volibear is one of those stupid champs that can build all Def items and still dish out tons of damage.

Illaoi is good in lane if they dont have slows/stuns and as long as the other enemies dont have stuns/blocks

Illaoi Ult REQUIRES that you hit your E and have 3+ targets and then you need to survive 3+ seconds to do anything. her slow attacks are her issue. If they would speed them up just a bit she would far much better as a champ.

Fiora - Can carry the game and will kill tanks. Also you'll be ganged a lot and so need your jg around you to counter gank and get fed. Once fed, game ends in 15 mins. Illaoi - I have seen a lot of toplaners do really good as and against her. She has to be picked based on team comp and might need to go tankier. I main JG and have >50% going against her, if I ever need to. She doesn't have any good CC. Volibear - His Passive is OP ( late game) if all the items like item 3083 item 3075 item 3102 item 3143 item 3748 / item 3053 . He is 100% kiteable and will die easily to vayne, Jinx, Ashe, Kog etc etc. And if enemy team has Lux Morgana Malzahar who can stun you for long duration you are dead meat. Passive will be little use unless you keep hitting ( life steal, damage etc will help you).

Mastering just 1 champ won't help you, master few of them and pick one based on team comp. Also your build needs to vary. ( I play voli jg just as tank, but if I do him as sup/top then I get different items and get some AD items as well.
