I’ve been hardstuck in silver for 5 seasons across two accounts.

As I reflect on my time in league of legends I realize that no matter how hard you try there’s always someone holding you back. Sure I have those up and down games but when people don’t pay attention to what you think is the right call frustrates me. I remember over multiple summers trying to learn the ins and outs of this game going to bed listening to streams and videos on how to improve at league of legends. Nothing seems to work. I made an account on the LAN server and I made it to gold this season but I can’t in my home server on NA. I got my main account banned because I was voicing my frustration to these people who want to ruin the gameplay experience for those who want to try and improve. All I wanted was gold so I could get the free skin. Riot, why can’t you make this happen for the people who play 600+ games a season? I seriously consider quitting this game since it doesn’t reward the players who actually grind out the game daily for up to 12 hours a day. The people who want to win but fall short every damn season due to people who don’t listen. I want something to change now this next season something drastic! You can’t just expect me to continue playing when I have people holding me back from my true potential. I feel depressed not getting gold after 5 seasons of play across two accounts. People say it takes time to improve. Yeah I’ve heard it all trust me. This game isn’t fun anymore for me since all I want is gold now. As soon as I hit it I’ll quit this game for good.

If you're playing 600+ ranked games per season then it's for sure you that's holding yourself back. I dunno dude get a coach. Blaming some non existent ELO hell isn't going to do anything

This doesn't even work out statistically.

Suppose each player in your games who is not you has an equal chance to be a complete animal and is awful at the game.

There are 4 such possibilities on your team. and 5 such possibilities on the enemy team.

You will statistically tend to have at least 20% less such players on your team, if you are not such a player.

You don't know the game well enough to climb and you can't blame that entirely on others. I don't disagree at all that you will have some unwinnable games due to unlucky teammates, but it is not over 50% of your games.

The question you should be asking is who is willing to coach you where you are making mistakes.

the best advice i can ever give to you is stop blaming your team, keep your ego down and in check(this is the main issue with silver players, it prevents them from improving) work on your macro play and most importantly dont take EVERYTHING pros say and keep trying to apply them, form your own play and see what works for you, also a duo is never a bad idead if people wont listen to calls cuz ill be real silvers are usually braindead with objectives, if you have a duo to support you with them the rest of the team is much more likely to follow up on it. id also suggest playing jg and abusing some meta champs there as in my experience it is by far the best role to carry in as you can babysit any shitters on your team, you have the responsibility of objective play and your general influence on the game is just great

The man makes a point, i was silver for the first seasons or 2 i played, then i realized i was Ass at the game and looked for ways of improving, now i can make a new account, and get to mid gold much easier then when i could barely make it to silver 4

The tilt is real. I bet your gameplay is fine, but judging by how you describe your play I'm guessing you're not a great teammate. If I have a frustrating few games that makes me even consider blowing up at a complete stranger over a damn video game, I log off and do something else.

Also, consider playing more Ivern. He's happy and makes everyone else happy - it probably comes from his being one with the forest. Big fan of the cleverness of mushrooms.

If you're playing 600+ ranked games a season then you're Silver because you're consistently playing at a Silver level.

If you're getting to a higher rank on another server but not on a fresh account that tells you the other server has less skilled players than your home server.

That person holding you back is yourself.

Get rid of that attitude and try again. I've coached people for a while and something I noticed is how they always make a mistake, then just want to "get back" into the game by 1v1ing the guy that just killed them, resulting in another free kill for them and it just tumbles from there.
