So last season i lost all 10 of my provis and was put in bronze 4 and this season i win 6/10 provis and get put in bronze 5? i dont get this at all i was put in a lower division for doing WAY better than i did last season. i wouldnt of cared if i was but in atleast bronze 3 for winning 6/10 provs. like last season my brother was placed in silver 3 and this season they put him in bronze 3 and he did the exact same 6/10 wins as last season. we literally spend about 45m a game for 10 games just to be rewarded with nothing. especially when i won 6/10 compared to 0/10 last season. Seriously Riot. thats retarded.

SAME!!!!!!!!! i was in silver 4 i won 7/10 of my provisional and got placed in bronze 2

Riot needs to take a break from champ updates and concentrate on reworking their ranking system that I see a complaint about here numerous times a day.

Rank after provisionals is also determined by your place last season. If you were Bronze 5 last season, you're probably going to be closer to Bronze 5 after provisionals this season. Also, depending on when you play your provisionals, you might have a skewed placing. As a general rule, the later you do provisionals, the more inflated your placement is likely to be. I'm not a pro on how it works, but these are just some things that I've seen on similar posts.

I believe they based it off your MMR last season, instead of the ranking. So people with disproportionate MMR's last season will see a jump up/down in Ranking this season.
