Afks are a serious problem

Ok I am sick and tired of losing promo games because people are afk. I have lost my bronze 1 promos literally 4 times this week because of people disconnecting. This is a serious issue that riot literally has done absolutely nothing to fix. Yeah sure great, you ban the guy that quits good job, that still doesn't change the fact that people lost out on lp that was stolen from them because of an afk. If your system has the capability to recognize that someone is afk, and even highlight their name red, it should at least be able to use said information to make it so everyone else aren't punished for someone disconnecting.

What I suggest Riot does is have a system for stopping afk's from ruining games is a system that works much like TB's lobby joining system, but instead, they are connected to that game. They don't pick a champion before que, for obvious reasons, and they will take over for that person. The afk will be removed from the game, but won't have the screen prompting them to reconnect.

To join it:

Step 1. Join anti-AFK que (or some name)

Step 2. Wait for a game that has an AFK

Step 3. Connect to that game

Step 4. Done

Instead of complaining then think of a way that can't be abused where afks are punished and the remaining players don't lose lp. I don't worry, the gameing industry won't wait since there isn't one game that Has a solution to this.
