Splash Potions as Trinkets? Or just Splash Potions?

What do you guys think? Splash Potions are potions that you use on other players to heal them instead of yourself, or apply store-bought buffs / debuffs. It'd open up a lot of opportunities for teams to trade vision management for team fighting ability. There are a million times when as a support bot lane, I'd prefer to give my potions to my adc. Potentially, this could add more control to Single/Duo queue ranked matches as well.

What do you guys think? Suggestions?

On one hand, there have been countless times that, as a support, I've sat with 2 health potions and full HP, wishing I could donate them to a near-dead ADC. That being said, splash potions sound pretty OP; they would need significant cost/CD to offset the sustain that they would bring to lane. When you pick a non-sustain support, such as Braum or Leona, you shouldn't be able to fix that with a few consumable buys.
