Minion Push in Custom Games

Since we added the minion pushing, the friendly minions are always pushing if you are practicing CS in a 1v0 custom game, or the enemy minions always push against you in a 1v4 custom game. Can we disable the pushing advantage when the team has uneven number of players?

This happens in real games too. If one team has an afk, they now have minions ALWAYS autopushing against them, meaning that they cannot group around objectives to contest, or roam as a group, or anything group related because their limited numbers are always split clearing waves because enemy minions exist. This is horrible and ruins the rare chance for a 4v5 win, as some of my favorite games have been 4v5 wins.

Yeah it's super annoying in custom games. I like to play solo custom games against 5 bots (with 4 bot allies) to relax and try out new builds sometimes. It's no fun if I don't get to 6 items because the minions win the game for me after i get a couple kills. Before, I could stall out the games as long as I wanted by just farming in the jg for a bit and not pushing. Now the minions autowin pretty quickly since the ai is bad at defending their base.

It's pretty unfortunate because that was a great way to destress and relax after frustrating ranked/normal games. ARAM isn't always a good option since you can end up with a terrible comp and get stomped. COOP vs AI usually ends in about 15 mins so you don't get to test out builds (and the minion pushing would be even worse). I wish there was a way to preserve the old custom games.

You only get an advantage if you have more towers and Are higher level than your opponent.

MINION DAMAGE BONUS : While your team has a level advantage, your minions deal bonus damage to enemy minions equal to 5% + 5% per turret advantage in their lane, all multiplied by your team's level advantage.

NERD ALERT : Bonus damage = (5% + (5% x Turret advantage)) x Team level advantage •If you're ahead by 1 level and are up by 2 turrets in a lane, the minions in that lane get (5% + (5% x 2 turrets)) x 1 level = 15% bonus damage •If you're ahead by 2.5 levels and are up by 1 turrets in a lane, minions in that lane get (5% + (5% x 1 turrets)) x 2.5 levels = 25% bonus damage

MINION DEFENSE BONUS : While your team has a level advantage, your minions take reduced damage from enemy minions equal to 1 + 1 per turret advantage in that lane, with the turret advantage bonus multiplied by the team's level advantage.

NERD ALERT : Damage reduction = 1 + (Level advantage * Turret advantage) •If you're ahead by 1 level and are up by 2 turrets in a lane, the minions in that lane get (1 + (2 turrets x 1 level)) = 3 reduced damage •If you're ahead by 2.5 levels and are up by 1 turrets in a lane, minions in that lane get (1 + (1 turrets x 2.5 levels)) = 3.5 reduced Read the patch notes. so I'm right.

This equation right here shows that your minions get a damage bonus even if you don't have a turret advantage. With no turret advantage, only the middle part of the equation (5% x Turret advantage) is zeroed out, but you'll still get the (5% x Team level advantage) portion.

So no, if I've interpreted it correctly, you don't need both a level advantage and a turret advantage for your minions to get a bonus. Only the defense bonus is reliant on both the level and turret advantage.
