Xerath is not fun anymore
The damage and utility of his spells don't even make up for his high mana costs and how hard his skills are to hit now that everyone has dashes, walls, and other saves.
How do any of these shortcomings fit into the fantasy of a long range AP sniper?
- His ult range is too short. Shorter than Zigg's and Zigg's damage is front-loaded, not split into 3 easily dodgeable skillshots.
- The delay on his Q is too long both in charging it up (with a self slow) and before it actually casts. So many mages have much longer range spells with much more impact castable in less than a second.
- After laning phase his passive is awful because getting close enough to AA anything is the absolute opposite of what an AP sniper should be doing. Meanwhile his mana costs are too high and his regen is too low especially when mana regen items cost so much and rushing them cuts into your damage so much.
Xerath desperately needs his numbers adjusted. Maybe you should expand your list of mages to be reworked to include 10 rather than just 4. Because a ton of mages should really be changed.
