I would like to see a way to use the championships shards in some other way.

I'm sitting on 50+ of these suckers right now and I don't even plan on getting a team icon, I've just been buying boxes griding out those purple gems. I'd gladly trade 50 of these things just for 1 purple gem, it'd get me that much closer to my goal.

I consider crafting to be part of gameplay, but for all I know other people may not, so I apologize if this is considered something different.
