ADC or ADC MAIN

So Basically, me and my buddy had a chat about ADC's. I told him that Tristana is a bad adc currently.. and he told me "nah she is OP"... so i went on and said that as a ADC main ( = <3) that she is a bad adc... uhm ok.. the main question is: I main Quinn.. and he told me that i dont main adc cuz i main quinn... so then i asked him what is a adc main then.. he told me its when u main every adc there is... (TBH nobody likes ) so then i want to know from you guys... are you a adc main if u play adc like 90% of the time... or are you a adc if u play all the adc's???( ) [RIP sivir season1 plays]

If it's your main role, then you main it. At least, that's how I think it works.

You're an ADC main if you play a variety of champions in primarily the ADC role. However, if you only main, say, Caitlyn for example, you are just a Caitlyn main and not an ADC main.

If you play any champion with an AD build you are technically an ADC. It makes no difference what champs you own or the exact percentage. If you say you are an ADC main, your an ADC main. Does not mean you are good, but that it is your focused role. IMO Quinn is not really a great ADC marksman, although her gameplay is more fun than any of the other marksman you can take into the bot lane (because she can basically assassinates the enemy carries, and can even 1v1 someone like Zed or Talon).

About Tristana, I am not very good with her (I also generally hate playing ADC, so that is certainly NOT my main role), but I would not say she is particularly OP until late game. For the majority of the early game you are pretty weak unless you have a supp like Blitz that makes it easy to land your E, and due to the more snowball-tending games it is much easier for other ADCs to make a difference.

If you play most Marksmen, and all but a few relatively well your an ADac main, at least compared to your other roles (time spent, progress made, competance on said champs compared to say top, where you might only play two champs well, while ADC you play all but two pretty well).

Does it mean you are a god? No, but at least compared to other roles you are better at it.

Quinn is a viable Marksmen, while Tristana kind of. There are always too few Marksmen that are good, doesnt matter the season.

Trist is more about taking towers. As opposed to getting kills.

However, Quinn can do both. Mobility for split pushing and assassination potential. But she can fall behind.

Hence, Quinn more viable.

I miss Sivir XD. But buffs made a few more Sivir's sprout, but still rare to find.
