League is broken (2017)

So over the past few months or so I have been playing a lot of league games and I have been noticing a huge disparity between champions. Ever since the assassin update ADCs have been almost useless against assassins (except for a few) and are so useless that there are games without ADCs at all. Ap supports are another class that is hurting. Most can only provide damage without any utility or support in the bot lane, unlike their tanky supp counter parts that can support and help their carry in bot lane get kills. Most "support" champions are really just mages sent bot lane; like lux, zyra, sona. if you don't build them full ap they tend to fall off late game. The only champions you can play in league of legends right now, without encountering major issues, are assassins and tanks, especially because assassins are so strong right now. Most can kill anyone in a quick combo minus tanks. Talon is especially strong due to his strong bleed and high damage. The game is just off balance, where a few classes of champions are truly viable, while others just fall to the wayside.

I agreed up to the point i saw what you typed about Sona. She is not a mage, never was. She is a support champion. And in fact she is quite weak early game currently. Her saving grace is the stun and that's it. She only gets stronger late game in contrast to what you said. Late game she is a monster with 45% CDR, strong AoE heals and shields, provided with stuns and damage and speed up. The bad part is getting to that point. In laning phase she is strong at lvl 1 and 2 , then she falls off. Her Q will deal less damage, her heal will get more expensive. You can't use abilities much, or you go oom. She dies easily by everything at bot except maybe Janna. She is easy to predict, so just engage her when she goes in to poke. This is the weakest thing about Sona currently in lane. If she doesn't poke, she is usless support pre 6. IF she pokes, it doesn't hurt so much after lvl 2 and she dies by looking at her.
