My Thoughts on the Meta.
I know I play a lot of ARAM, but I still see bits of the meta. Anyway I see the problem is the rune and Item(s?) that give TRUE damage. It might sound good on paper , but we all know the rule on what sounds good on paper rule. Anyway my personal three solutions are,
1.Get rid of the True Damage. 2.Nerf the True damage. 3.Make Armor Defend more against Crit. Number three needs some explaining, My idea is that Armor should negate a % of crit damage . Lets say 25% per 120 armor? That makes building Armor for Tanks and other champs viable to help deal with assassins and adcs too.
That means if you want to defend against crits you need to be willing to let go of a good bit of damage. It also makes you need MR (which a few damage items do have which helps) if you want to not get burnt down by mages.
