My opinion on the Nocturne rework

So, I recently heard Nocturne is scheduled for a rework. Now, I can see why. Nocturne is an assassin which is better built as a diver, similarly to Evelynn. But it's already been confirmed that Evelynn's rework will solidify her as an assassin. So why not solidify Nocturne as a diver? Ways to do so would be:

  1. Nerf the damage on his ult a little bit, give him some damage resistance for 3-5 seconds after using it
  2. Make his W heal him if it blocks something rather than give him attack speed
  3. Make his E deal no damage, extend the fear duration
  4. Nerf damage, buff health Now, why would being a diver work for Nocturne's lore? Evelynn makes sense as an assassin, striking from the shadows and all that. But Nocturne... oh Nocturne, man I love his lore. Anyways, Nocturne makes sense as a diver because he doesn't strike from the shadows and disappear. He doesn't cut and run. He slowly drives his victims to madness, relentlessly tracking them. Once Nocturne has his sights on you, it's over. You can't run, you can't hide, Nocturne will find you by any means necessary. Nothing, and I mean nothing can save you now. The same principle applies to divers. You can't outrun (Warwick) out cc (Rek'sai) or out lifesteal (Kled) them, and they will kill you. But what would make Nocturne a diver? While, he would, if the rework caters to my exact needs, which it definitely won't, be a jack of all trades. With effort, you could outrun (Q) out cc (E) or out lifesteal (Usual build) him, but you can't do all three at once. Nocturne will strike fear into the hearts of any isolated enemy as he rips them to shreds.

Nocturne rework 2018, folks. Get ready to die.

What makes Nocturne Nocturne is that he dives carries and murders them, and "fears" the enemy team by ulting and making people wonder who is gonna be the unfortunate one who gets destroyed.

Your changes kinda make him a wet noodle, so you'd have to overload the hell out of his Q
