Leblanc and Relic Shield

I have recently played a LeBlanc game where me and the support dived the opposing mid laner and when we had killed him my passive popped and then the alistar used his relic stack but my clone was closer to alistar so i didn't get the gold and and the animation went to my clone, i don't know if this is what you want in the game or if i just have found a bug. I'm not mad we still won the game and the 40 odd gold doesn't matter that much but just wanted to let you know for future.
