Riot what were you thinking when restricting ranked games

I have been a silver player since season 2, this past season i got out of my provisionals at bronze 5 which i thought was ok because according to the patch notes at the time it said the majority of the player base was going to start lower due to new changes being made. Well ok even tho i won 7/10 of my games ill deal with b5, i can climb out with the help of my friends i always play ranked with every season.... NOPE!

thank you riot for not allowing me to play ranked games with the same people ive been playing with that got me into the game in the first place many years ago. both my other teammates that i typically play with came out of provisionals at silver and gold with winning less games than i did, and now because of some stupid implication we cannot party together anymore at all. Not for Duo Q, last time we tried playing as 3 it wouldn't let us because we needed 4 and we dont have a 4th and definitely not a 5th.

Is this crap ever gonna be fixed or does the Dev team think this is a somehow a good move to combat some kind of boosting? I know this company makes enough money to have someone hired to spectate matches to ensure this isnt happening or maybe not since the current banning system is literally done by the playerbase voting on in game chat logs... hmm ( yea im still pissed for getting banned when i was playing the game correctly against someone who wasnt)

Why not turn for advice and some coaching to those friends instead of boosting lel.

Then go play flex queue. Solo queue is a much better show of skill, unlike your description of being carried.

there's a point where you're just doing horrible damage to matchmaking and the disparity between you and your friends has gone past that.

you can still play with them in normals, but for ranked you need to start seriously looking at how to improve so you can catch up.
