New Mastery system not what it was hyped to be

Honestly I'm pretty dismayed, looking at the new mastery system. I logged in after an awesome week of league with my ADC main friend, and now I don't even feel like I have a point to laning with him(I'm a support mainBlitzcrank Braum TahmKench Thresh Sona .) Putting things like Bandit in what appears to be a jungling tree, and pretty much completely decimating the defensive tree altogether means that I have to blow points on things that don't really matter much to me--like having biscuits, or out of combat movement speed. It feels absurd, because its not like I'm getting many more points in my trees--I'm level 27. I feel like they took the old masteries, made some pointless, some ridiculous, and then threw in some item effects, and then randomly threw them into different categories. Damage, Defense, And Utility were a lot more clear-cut. This just all seems too vague and silly. I'm also seeing that these masteries let certain characters get 100% crit rates. I don't even want to imagine what going against Tristanas, Ashes, Vaynes, etc, actually no, pretty much any ADC, with some of these masteries. Anyone else feel that this was a totally absurd patch?

First, you're only level 27. You don't have access to the full complement of mastery points yet, so take your experiences with a few grains of salt (salt, I said, not saltiness).

Second, for your supports:

Blitz takes 0/12/18, with the Bond of Stone keystone (or possibly Strength of the Ages if you don't want to take damage for your allies). Braum, Thresh and Kench are in the same boat.

The distribution of points in Cunning should include the bonus MS, Secret Stash for sustain, mana regen to be able to do stuff and finally Bandit.

I feel that I get more Masteries that I really want now than I did in the previous system*[slayer-jinx-catface]*

For instance your not level 30 yet. Cunning tree is not just a jungler tree, you are supposed to be dipping into atleast 2 trees.

Tank supports have mastery build path that makes sense.

For example: Leona Wanderer, Secret stash, meditation, Bandit. Unyielding, Tough skin, veteran scars, insight, legendary guardian, bond of stone.

8 cunning and 12 resolve.

Wanderer makes your roams faster and can be supplemented with explorer if you dont want dmg reduction from tough skin. Secret stash is good, because you buy pots for sustain earlygame. Meditation is good because you want to use your abilities more often. Bandit is just good and should be taken by even melee toplaners atm.

Unyelding synergises with leonas W passive and helps every little of resistances she gets. Tough skin might not seem much, but you might survive of it because how everything adds up. Veterean scars because Leona doesnt synergize well with runic armor. Insight. FLASH COOLDOWN LOWERED BY 45 seconds. Legendary guardian and swiftness is about preference

BOND OF STONE.... is just good on tank supports. dmg reductions and helps out your adc.

New tank masteries are absolute dogshit. You gave every single ADC in the game 100% crit, lifesteal, bonus damage, bonus pen, bonus move speed, bonus crit damage, and AoE on-hit stackables. But then removed all the tank masteries.

All that shit Trebbi just mentioned is utter trash. The +2 per five health regen? What about the 50% rege.. oh the free rejuv bead? Or how about tough skin? ONE POINT OF DAMAGE. When Caitlyn can crit for over 2000 that one fuckin' point doesn't mean anything. Oh man I reeeeaalllly hope I'm standing next to 30 siege minions so I can get that free 300 health! Or without all my armor/mr synergy I hope I can last four seconds in a team fight so I can get my autoattack off to gain 3% of my health back! Meanwhile the ADC shooting me in the face is healing more in one hit than my whole kit can do to her. Yeah... way to fucking go.

Tank masteries are fucking useless. Fuck them, and fuck you Riot for making them useless.

Fuck. You.

Oh and I don't know maybe if you're going to give every ADC 100% crit, you could build more than ONE tank item that reduces crit damage. Or I don't know .. maybe a proper fucking mastery.
