Issues with Draven axe's movement prediction

Alrighty, I wanted to talk about an issue with draven axe's that bothers me (a vivid draven player) quite a bit. To start this off i want to make clear exactly what I am talking about. Whenever draven throws an axe that axe will also drop on the floor for you to catch it. Now where that axe is going to fall onto the floor is determined by:

Spinning Axe's landing location is determined by Draven's direction of movement at the time of Spinning Axe's impact on the target. ◾If Draven is not moving at this time, the Spinning Axe will bounce back towards his current location, either landing directly on him or to his sides. ◾On the other hand if Draven is moving, the Spinning Axe will bounce ahead of him, either directly in his path or slightly off to the sides.

Issue

Now this works 90% of the time, but we run into issues when juggling axes in between minions. Whenever you throw an axe and walk into a minion (even if that minion is completely passable) the axe will drop in a random location around you. This makes kiting throughout or around minions incredibly difficult.

Scenario

Imagine this scenario: you are standing behind your ranged creeps and the enemy ADC walks up too close trying to cs one of your ranged creeps. Now you move in and Auto attack the enemy ADC once with Spinning axe activated, after which the enemy ADC moves back. You want to follow the enemy adc so you run through your ranged creeps and by the time your Auto Attack hits the enemy adc you are up against the minions which leads to the game determining that something is blocking your way and placing the spot where your axe will land somewhere othere then where you are pathing. you will now lose the spinning axe and as a result lose your bonus damage.

Possible solution?

This has happened to me a few to many times and is really annoying to deal with so i was wondering whether the system to determine where dravens axes will be dropped could be updated to check whether a minion or a piece of player created terain is truly impassible or is just a minor obstacle which can be passed. If this were to be included that the axe would have to drop a little closer to you since you now need to path around the minion.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this and thank you for taking the time to respond!
