I was playing a duo queue game with my buddy, and everything was going well until about the 10 minute mark when my ENTIRE team starts complaining about lag, and I get it as well. Had to restart my computer, and even then for a while the game didnt come back on.

Right as I am able to reconnect, Lulu reconnects as well, and lo and behold, 2 of our inhibitors are down. Coincidence? I think not.

Not only did I lose the game, but the amazing LeaverBuster system dished out 5 games of low-priority queue for partaking in "toxic" behavior. Honestly this doesnt make sense to me, if others have the same problem as I do at the very least it shouldn't be giving penalties and at best it should have been a loss prevented.

Have you been having connection problems? Because Leaverbuster doesn't touch you for one game.

I too have had some problems the last couple weeks. I managed to narrow down the problem to Riot's network every time. Really sucks when it happens.

But never once did I get punished for it. It takes more than a disconnect or two to get hit by leavebuster.

I think I've only really had issues w/ riot's servers once or twice, but that sucks that you got punished for server lag and trying to dc to correct it (although if your whole team is lagging bc it's server lag and not your internet I don't know why disconnecting and reconnecting would help, but whatever). Maybe it will stop happening when riot finishes their bridge project thing. Hopefully lol.

Would this happen to have been recently? saaaayy friday? Riot was doing live maintenance which messed with people's connections, and made them disable ranked because of the lag and dc's. I don't know how you avoided the "loss prevented" but i'll refer you to hellioning about Leaverbuster.
