Make a Nostalgia Game Mode

As we all know the game is Evolving but not in a good way because you cant make league as good as it was back at season 2 3 4 5 make a new game mode called ''Nostalgick Times''or somethin in these lines. The game mode would concist of all the old items till season 5 (or another seasson you choose) and i know that reverting all the reworks and buufs or nerfs would be a massive deal to make but if you could just give us the old map some old items and dig some old champion files that would be great. Also how about making better easter eggs in the game not like iverns that he would just talk make something like the deleted champions cofins.

I don't think that'd be possible. The amount of 'backtracking' with items, abilities.. It'd be like second game within LOL. I'd like the idea, considering Riot will most likely do this once game popularity will dwindle, you know.. "LOL classic", but untill then it's just a madmans dream :(

On top of being impossible, the fun would wear off even quicker than URF. I can picture it now:

Roaming herds of one shot AP Yis blowing up entire teams.
DFG Old LeBlanc with her silence.
Lanes being won or lost because of 1% crit runes at level 1.
AFK gold income strats with 1-3 GP5 items.
Whatever the fuck old Karma was. Actually she might be good now that the playerbase is better.
Absurd ratio abuse on all the old champions who had some nutty ratios.
Bugs galore like Rumble's flamespitter dealing 50% bonus damage on purple side.

tbh strong mages back then had just as strong MR to fight against. The 1% crit was so much RNG that I, in my whole experience, had it like handful of times at best. AP Yi wasn't all that popular. If anything his popularity was shortlived, as Riot reworked him asap.

Overall if this would bring back the old LOL (like described here: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/qwzgZiV5-i-really-miss-league-of-legends) then I'd be so happy. Or rather I wouldn't have a reason to be that much unhappy.

Yeah, that won't work.

See the problem with stuff like AP Yi or 1% crit runes is that few players knew about it and when it finally caught on, then it was a problem. By turning back the clock, you're bringing back these problems to a playerbase that knows them. I'm certain any player who wants to try this will google old LoL nightmares and find a smorgusboard of things to abuse, misuse and make other peoples lives hell for it. The biggest difference (as I outlined in that thread in a comment) is player skill discrepancy now vs. later. Unfortunately, you can't just remove player skill.
