I was recently in a zed game when I had ulted on a yi jsut before he used his alpha strike, you can tell by the left side of the screen that it shows I had used my ultmate and could go back to my shadow, yet my ultimate did not pop off on yi. Is this a glitch or can yi cancel my ult? (My ult also went on cooldown)

Yi dodged your ult by using alpha strike. it essentually removes hit from the game for the duration so your ult never is applied.
