I always think it's funny when a champion gets either gutted or "fixed" by Riot (which means they become incredibly overpowered and near 100 percent banrate), people just come out of the woodwork to rage about how Riot killed their FAVORITE CHAMP

Of the slew of people complaining about Malzahar because of the fact that they used to "main" him and can no longer play him due to bans, I guarantee only like 2.5 percent of you were ACTUALLY Malz mains. You just want something to bitch about.

The vast majority of players do not post on the boards. In reality, even champs with a 1% play rate have THOUSANDS of dedicated and passionate players, even if they do not make themselves verbally known.

When these players become sufficiently motivated to complain, they will do so. The boards is the way to do that. That's why it seems like these people just "happen" to be mains of obscure champions, because they don't come to the boards regularly.

Honestly i actually use to main malzahar, don't get me wrong i played just about every champion, but my 2nd highest mastery champion has < 1/2 of the points.

If you think the people who "used to main him" are angry at not being able to play him due to his high ban rate, then you're sorely mistaken.

The majority of the people coming onto the forums posting about no longer being able to play him isn't because he's ban, it's because he's not fun to play anymore. I don't even play ranked, and i no longer play the champion. It's just not fun to do so now that they've gutted the complexity of his kit, and redistributed the majority of his power to a skill which, basically, automatically kills the target.
