SURRENDER, lack of motivation that we do not need.

Hello Riot, I am writing this letter because I can not handle that almost every game my team surrender. I lost so many games because of this. Even if we have a chance to win, my team give up. Sometimes it happens because someone is AFK, but with "/remake" I think we could remove "/ff" option to try it again, maybe better, but never give up! I realize that people are going to do "open mid" or something like that, but they will be reported and banned (forever, i hope). In Dota 2, people do not have this option in normal or solo ranked games and every time it gives a chance to win a match even if you are behind. For League it will be useful for people to understand more about the game, ahead team are going to try harder to end the game, and loosing team will know that they had a chance to win. I guess, it will make people to playing smarter. Thank you. Also, i think that it will better to make 5-0 surrender vote and not 4-1.

LOL no. It's already stacked in favour of people voting "no" by requiring 4 out of 5, instead of 3. There are a lot of reasons people want to surrender and you can't know them all. If I start a vote to surrender it is because I see the game as lost with slim / zero chance of coming back. Of course there is a chance to win even if slim but if your team is not motivated after being crushed all game you can't force them to become motivated. The longer you keep them in the game the more miserable they are going to be and worse they are going to play. It's better to start over where you, and everyone else, is on an even playing field. I'd much rather the surrender option be game ending at 3-2 but it won't happen.

For reference I would say that of the games I have wanted to surrender I have lost around 80% - 90% of them. The difference between losing a game and surrendering before I lose is that I don't waste more time in a hopeless situation. If my team is a full premade (it isnt, I play alone) then a comeback may happen but a team of random people are far less likely to be able to mount the comeback. You can hope all you want and say "there is always a chance" but when that chance is only if three of the enemy team disconnect for the rest of the game you may as well forfeit and move on.

A Dota player here, in the last week i have had 3 games which went to a point that it was very slim for the enemy team to make a comeback.......... but.... they did and they won. Our team made an epic comeback and won and twice we lost.

If we had a surrender option, none of these games would have been epic, because all of it had reached a point where one team 100% felt they will win/lose but the opposite happened.

I was never a fan of surrender option when i used to play league.

Unless they get rid of it you will always have players abuse it. Especially at low elo where there are so many "parents raised a bunch of loser mentality" players.
