ok who ever made ivern needs to take a long hard look at life and never make a champ again. you might be looking at high elo play but at low elo(where he would be played) he doesnt work. he is so weak. hes ap scaling is butt and the bush w... really you spawn a bush and do what walk in it? because it doesnt do anything. there are so many things you could have done with the W like slow an oppent when they walk though it or snare them or give a buff to you ally. and the cd on your Q at full cdr its a nine second cd. like its not good please do something the char looks nice and is a cool guy but they char is useless

I just got out of a game where I played first time Ivern in gold 2.

Went 1/2/20 and built item 3117 item 3030 item 3152 item 2045 item 3060

Had no clue what I was doing. Something worked I guess.

Ivern can easily be played as support. I see it all the time. Ivern jungle is super weak.

I think niche is a much better term than weak. He's squishy yes, but his utility + his mild burst and play making potential is enormous. Can he duel you down like the assassin junglers? no, but he can demolish teams when played correctly none the less.

They are free, 3 second wards that can be placed up to 1650 units away with a super low cooldown compared to vision trinkets.

While that isn't really that great, there is still the passive.

325 bonus attack range and 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+30% AP) bonus magic damage on-hit for up to 3 seconds after leaving a bush.

even with that you still have to walk into the bush and the ward with is ok be still other then that it is useless every player that is at sliver or higher knows the map and were the bushes are so there is no surprise element to them

You are also forgetting about the fact that it effects fog of war. If he places a bush on one side of an enemy ward, the ward can not see into or on the other side of the bush. If you know where an enemy ward is you can cut off their vision.

You can even use bushes to deny vision of monsters. If you place a bush directly on top of dragon or even Baron, they literally can not see it without placing a ward directly inside of that bush. Even if they use a sweeper they can still can't see the health bar. This can make stealing extremely difficult.

Proof that Low ELO does not know how to use utility in the slightest. Which is sad because I'm in the same skill level as these people.

I'm Gold and I destroy with Ivern. He actually helps a TON with keeping clueless teammates in line. Your adc is trying to 1v3? All good, put a massive shield on them, get Daisy in there and even the odds. Bot lane is getting smacked? Share a red buff with adc, go steal enemy blue and share with support. That's just a sample of what the Tree Man can do. Give it some time, others will learn to play him and it'll turn around.
