Ultrawide 21:9 monitor, I want black bars on the sides so I can play 16:9.

I know there is some controversy with ultra-wide monitors giving a larger direct view of the game, however I seriously have too turn my head to see the mini map in the right bottom corner. Therefore my map awareness has gone too absolute poop. I have done this in Overwatch because the FOV is terrible in 21:9.

2650x1080 (21x9) is my native resolution, when on 1920x1080 (16x9) the game gets stretched too 21:9. I played around with the lower resolutions and all except the aspect ratio 16:9 give black bars. For example 1280x1024, gives me black bars. I am aware about the setting in Nvidia control panel and it is on. Tbh there should be an easy fix for this but I can't seem too figure it out. Any tips appreciated!

All you have to do is make sure Keep Aspect Ratio is ticked n your GPU control panel and tick a 16:9 resolution in-game. It will then run with black bars or with a part of the desktop still visible(if Borderless or Windowed).
