So I know Riot says that they take many things into account when calculating your MMR...and they say that the system will generally extend a que time instead of giving an unfair matchup. If this is the case, how come I routinely end up facing people 3-4 leagues above my own. I would much prefer to wait a little longer and actually get an even match than constantly be facing higher leagues.
Reasons this would happen include but are not limited to:
-You are playing duo with a higher ELO / MMR buddy/friend/pal
-You are actually much higher skill level than your rank indicates (in which case, good 5 u frend)
-You are on a DANK winning streak and the smurf detection / elo boost detection system is kicking in
-RITO hates u

If you're winning a lot then you'll get matched up w/ higher level players. If you're losing a lot you can tell when you're about to get demoted by the players you're matching up w/. For example, if you're Gold V and you start getting matched up w/ silver 3's & 4's, you're about to go down to Silver 1 if you lose. I do think there's something wrong w/ the match making but I don't know how to fix it. Statistically what are the chances that I get matched up in back to back to back games where every lane feeds and gets destroyed? It just seems to happen way too much to be a coincidence. Whether I do good or bad if I look at the team stats and EVERYONE is getting dumpstered I can't help but wonder wtf happened that game? If it was every now and again I wouldn't think there was anything funny going on but some days it's like 4-5 games in a row, one sided stomping, every teammate I have just gets rekt. Not saying I always do good, cause I don't but it just feels kinda fishy some days...
