Pre-season Flex Q

so I'm trying to rush to challenger in Flex Q, currently D3, and I wonder if Flex Q be reset like Solo/Duo will be at the start of Season 7? I'm so confused right now cuz Riot didn't comfirm any informations about Flex Q when it released. Anyone knows about this? I don't want to waste my time to play in Flex Q and get reseted at the start of Season 7. Thanks
