Can We Talk About the Kindred Rework?

Most of the Kindred mains on Reddit are upset. Their play rate jumped up at patch time, then disappeared again. Their win rate has tanked to almost 45% overall.

They're not a more healthy champ, they're not a more balanced champ, they just suck. Can we skip the months of people finding new mains and complaining, and just revert the changes and go back to the drawing board?

We have a very recent example of why they will not do that. Zac

People called for reverts because he was weak at first. They changed a few small numbers and he was OP. Yeah, she'll need some work, probably, but just because the first iteration didn't work does NOT mean a revert is needed.

I said so many times that Kindred don't live their fantasy.

At this point, you should rename the champion to: ''Lamb and the talking zone and empowered auto attack that look like a spirit hunting wolf''.

What's the point of having two opposite beings in one champion if one is just following the other around and sometimes interact in battle?

the range scaling is garbage, its barely noticeable. kindred is not an adc she is a jungle champion she was CREATED to be PLAYED in the JUNGLE not botlane.

Riot needs to give back some of that old sustain they used to have.

Kindred's rework was doomed to fail since the very beginning, because the concept of forcing junglers into crit builds is flawed.

Junglers can't wait for late game to be relevant, they need to impact the game during the laning phase if they want to carry.

How is a jungler (a role with low gold income) supposed to be a threat when they have little to no utility and their damage starts spiking only after 3 items (jungle item + tier 2 boots + crit item)?

I think the problem with Kindred's rework is they changed up her play pattern and failed to fix her biggest issue.

The problem with the play pattern is her damage used to be focused on her AAs, but now it scales better on her skills. This isn't a big difference, but it's there. Her autos also used to get better damage and now they get better safety. The other problem is she's always been a bit of a win-more champion, in that from how her passive works, she's either going to snowball or be snowballed against. Riot didn't fix that, they didn't do anything to make it easier for her to get back into the game, and for her autos, they made it worse by making her need 4 stacks to get a little bit safer.

If I could sum up the problem with Kindred as a jungler is that she's very team dependent instead of being a jungler that enables her team. That's why I call her a win more champ.

Kindred needs a re-release IMO. Her kit does nothing for her fantasy of "embodiment of death" on top of being a balance nightmare. So many champs have kits that not only do her theme better, but are also just... better... Warwick Evelynn Hecarim Camille Mordekaiser Sion Olaf just to name a few. Even if riot manages to tweak her number just right™ to where she become balanced, her gameplay will still be underwhelming at best.

Twitch is a better jungler than Kindred now lol.... it's not even fair because lane kindred is even worse than before to.

Kindred is just too easy to shut down with their passive; the enemy jungler has such a head start unless Kindred is camping in the enemy jungle and neglecting their own.

they play an adc champion on jungle .. why do they even cry about? lol it's like playing sona vs jayce top and saying sona gets 1 shot "omg she is weak" ^__^
