Bring back team builder for norms!!!!

I specifically play normal games so I don't have to deal with the hassle and seriousness of ranked games or ranked queues. This is like every professional sport requiring every amateur playing a pick up game to follow the rules of a professional game. I just want to mess around, pick my champ and have some fun - in a queue that doesn't require my full attention, three bans, a blood test, your social security number and a final exam.

Bring back team builder to norms please.

Teambuilder was great for learning a specific champion or a specific role. Now it's like.............50/50 you can get your role assuming no trolls. TB was great.

just posted something on this, I cant agree with toxic jinx, in order to have fun and respect your teammates you need to enjoy the game your playing, people enjoy a more laid back mode like blind pick cause it opens up some very silly combos, but when you are "required" to play a mode that you normally don't worry about unless your prepping for ranked then it sucks the fun outta the game, and honestly there are casual gamers out there who will never play ranked but still want to win a few games here and there

Yeah I loved waiting for thirty minutes for a support. Good times.

I liked Team builder because I never loaded in first so I could never get the position I wanted, but after playing one game in the new Queue it's already an improvement.

Yeah, it seems like a good idea for ranked, it cleans up the problems of the ranked queue. I just don't see the logic behind bringing it to normals. It's a solution to a problem it didn't have.

No seriously, if you enjoyed playing off meta at all, teambuilder was awesome, because there was a good chance that

a: your teammates were also gonna be kinda trolly or at least open to trollness (otherwise you wouldn't get onto the team in the first place) and

b: the enemy team was also gonna be kinda trolly, instead of just stomping your troll picks with a top-tier hyper-meta comp every game.

Tbh, I didn't use team builder that frequently, but whenever I felt the itch to play, say, AP Gangplank or AP Shaco mid, I knew I would be able to find a team that would let me play what I wanted and still have a somewhat fair game, and I'm not sure the new system will really let me do that since Draft modes, even in normals, attract the more serious end of the playerbase, but they're not the players I want to play with in normal games.

also in team builder you had the choice to leave before the game started if you didnt like how the team was being built. team builder was less serious so yea there were more troll roles but even though i primarily played team builder i had a blast with or with out trolls. but i can't stand the toxic that is blind/draft

They expect people to discuss comp and talk about game plans during champ select but people are just going to pick what they want and you can't dodge like you could in team builder.

Then don't play League, honestly. When you queue up, your teammates want you to do your best. Play a pve game if you don't want to try. Come back when you're ready to respect your teammates.

You're just one of the people that made every TB game a shitty stomp. Not that it matters now it's gone. I can actually play draft without getting shoved into support. Happy days.

what does that have to do with throwing games... I've played my fair share of normal blind pick and normal draft. I've played a decent amount of oddball lanes and did well/had fun. Having fun and playing off kilter stuff is what normals are good for... im not gonna pick weird shit in Ranked, but i will in normals. Thats all he wants, a place where he can pick his champ, and have people accept it.

Also a place where you can pick Jinx and get it 100% and be only adc.

Why cant they make the new team builder just mandatory for norms too, wait times would be no longer if everyone has to use it. Further, even if it does make getting a game take a little bit longer, that is better than having to endure 40 minute game where someone else decides to insta lock the role/lane you already called then proceeds to abuse, feed, rage at you before afk'ing etc.

Also consider; by allowing people to pre-pick two possible rolls, it doesn't prohibit them from still doing silly builds or off meta champ picks. And if wait times are too much to handle, then that will encourage more people to play those roles, as they will get games much faster. Rito could always strap on some bonus chance of getting crafting mats or ip that could be adjusted dynamically to encourage more people to fill less popular roles/or try roles they don't normally use aswell. I think it would go a long way to making the community much less toxic in general.
