don't build after what sites tell you to build.

usually you want to get your core items and after that you get the items that are best against the other teamcomp.

Yeah i know . I dont take the full build . I take the core items and the boots(depend on match) and last 2 items depend on match . But what core to choose . Win rate or pick rate

win rate when it's a big enough playerbase.

i wouldn't trust a 60% winrate out of 30 games for example.

win rate

High win rate builds are deceptive because there are confounding factors. For example, they often rush high cost damage items because they're already ahead.

this is like asking "which build is better the one with a high success rate or the one with a low success rate?"...

Well, use your discretion. Win rate at face value is better, but look at the sample size. If theres some random one trick who has 1 mil+ mastery who builds suboptimal but because he's mastered the champ still wins a lot, it can make the highest win rate build something that isn't the 'best' build, it'll just have a relatively tiny sample size.

That said, for almost no champions does a 'best' build exist, as builds can and should depend on the situation (e.g. enemy team comps, your teams comp, who is fed, who is behind, etc.). If you're going to blindly copy something, I'd just use probuilds, but really try to understand builds in the contexts of the game.

You use pro builds ?

As a reference point to jump off of when I'm playing a champ I'm not familiar with. I roll my own build with janna and a handful of other champs I'm much more in-tune with, or if I'm doing something off-meta (I'll support as pretty much anything with only a couple exceptions, as a side effect of me earning my weekly S rank).

High win rate combined with a fairly high pick rate. The highest pick rates are the ones most common with a certain champion so those builds may or may not reflect the changing meta while a lesser, but still fairly high like 2nd to 4th, on the most common builds that has a higher win rate than the most common build may be the new go to build that just hasn't completely caught on. I also use op.gg for champion builds if I am doing bad or I am trying out a new champion.
