Class Specific Item Stats?

So I have been wondering, with all the ongoing discussion about how a lot of nerfs and changes hurt tank junglers nowadays, I though why not make some items have class specific stats.

As an example, the juggernaut enchantment tenacity passive, why not modify it such that it goes something like:

"If tank class, Add Tenacity"

this way the item can be build by any champion but it will shine the most when put on a champion classified as a tank.

it is pretty much something in the same being as how Iceborn gauntlet behaves differently on Melee vs Ranged champions, so even though you can build the item on both types, it shines the most in one class specifically.

Likewise items like Infinity Edge which for a time (and still a bit for now) are mostly ranged ADC items, could have something like:

"if main class fighter, +5 crit chance" so champions like garen can benefit more from the item to get something from their lack of range?

just some food for though about something I think would be a good way for Riot to add some extra depth and balance for the game.

My Garen is a tank, my Twitch is an assassin, Sejuani is definitely an AP fighter (not a tank), and Corki is played mage like Ezreal.

Now for the actual response: That's a bad idea. For one, this would require tweaking items in such a way that some champions arbitrarily gain stats where others don't. Maybe I really DO want that tank bonus for Garen, but because someone determined Garen isn't a tank, I can't benefit from it. That feels bad. The same case applies to many other champions as well.
