So can we get an explanation on how this system will ACTUALLY work this season. It seems to me that you get paired based off of you MMR, however the justification of placing someone in bronze because they did not do well in placements or lost 8 out of 10 games because of the feed lord teammates they get doesn't seem appropriate. Will it be based of you "rating" you get aftermatch or are players going to get screwed into ELO hell as usual?

Eedat1 votesThis happens literally every single year. Since you cant get placed above Plat, high ELO gets reset which shifts everyone downwards. Low Silvers are in risk of getting demoted to bronze. Low Gold to Silver, etc.
This isn't new people. This happens every year. Its also a way of cleaning out all the 5s divisions to make sure only the people who belong there will be there.
And the only reason you're being salty is because you've lost all your placement games so far. Then you're going to say your team mates are "feed lords" like 4/7/1 on GP isnt feeding
Meta44ls1 votesbut when you look at na.op.gg you cant really see how people can go literally 7-1 for the first 20 minutes but end up being 7-12+ because the other 4 clowns cant play safe or farm under turret. They just continue to overextend, not place wards correctly etc. Or how you can have a 2-0 or something along those lines first 15-20 minutes of farming correctly, hitting you CS and so on. But other lanes just continue to have 5-8 deaths in that timeframe. Im not saying im a plat player by any means, however I will complain that I have played some really well games that i end up losing becuase 3 other people on the team dont know the mechanics, in the meantime LP just goes down the toilet. It is what it is but Im able to voice my complaint like anyone else and have a discussion about the trolling that matchmake is. Some people shouldnt que up for ranked is all.
