[Mordes passive] The tale of the missing counter play.

After watching a few games now, and played much more, where Mordes Dragon Passive really just stomped the enemy, it left me wondering about the counter play to his passive. And don't misunderstand me. Ofc all champions have their "strong side", but should'nt there be a hint of possible counter play?

Right now Morde can just go back to base and let Dragon take mid at the same time, and there is literally NOTHING the enemy team can do without investing 4-5 man to kill it before it takes too much. And even if you do that, your investment is not even close to pay off and the rest of Mordes team can take towers, camps, baron, farm for free.

I understand that it's a different and unique way for a champion to do that, but a global dragon is just too much and does not add a fun OR a tactical element to the game. Just stomping and snowballing.

QUESTION TO RIOT: What are the thoughts behind this passive, why does it belong in league and where is the counter play.

Please let me hear some thoughts about this as I really like to understand more about this game, and maybe there is a n angle to this I didn't see.

Btw. english not 1. language, don't h8 m8.

just seems to be the theme of Certain(lyt) Champs...cool looking>>game/counterplay. they should just revert him to his old self until they have time for a real rework, right now he´s a lot more toxic and binary than he had ever been.

It's just so gimmicky. I'm not sure why they thought it was necessary, especially given how easy it is for him to get. At least to get a champion's ghost his ult has to be up and he has to cast it on them. If that was too weak, they should have changed it. But now he gets dragon just by hitting it once with a spell or ability, and it's so tanky that you will almost certainly lose a tower before it's dead.
