[Suggestion] Allow players to pick a champ someone else preselected even if they dont own it.

Idea came from a discussion "Why is it allowed to ban a champ someone in your team preselected" and there where valid reasons for it.

One of the bigger reasons is "5. pick wants FOTM, what now?" And yeah, thats a problem if your first pick team mate doesnt have that champ.

So my suggestion as follows:

  1. Allow people to pick champions other team mates preselected. (They only can preselect champs they have)
  2. The player who got a champ picked can only pick champions from the champion pool of the player who picked for him.
  3. Automatically swap the champions after pick phase is over OR count it as dodge if they fail to swap fast enough.

Opinions?

It's an interesting concept, but it seems like it would add a fair amount of complexity for the situation. And unless you're in a group of 5 people that always play together, it's the sort of thing that probably would be used infrequently enough that you couldn't assume everyone would know how to use it after a couple weeks. (Contrast New Champ Select, where people messed up all the time in the first few weeks, but got used to it since they had to do it every single game.)

I think it would be simpler if you were allowed players to trade pick order itself while still in the ban phase. It seems like it would foster the sort of teamwork and communication that Riot likes.
