I got placed with my 10 placemnts in silver 4, played some match, had 80% winrate (16W/4L) got into my promos with silver 1 mmr and only got one div higher. In season 7 i got 2 divisions higher with the same record (maybe that was from silver 5 to silver 3 with silver 2 mmr). Did they change something about that? I'm not whining tho, just wondering*[galio-happy]*
It's the start of the season, everyone is bunched up so jumping isn't as easy.
Ive been playing in silver 4 with silver 1 mmr. Last night I basically clean sweeped my way to silver 3. So i don't really care that I am down a couple divisions, I just get a bunch of free wins until the game starts to over compensate for all my wins and I get fisted for a while.
Nah, The soft reset looks at your current MMR not your Division. So if your MMR got reset lower your gains from placements don't push you up as much. Keep winning and your gonna skip divisions to catch up to your mmr pretty fast.
