Does Tenacity effect Blitzcrank's W?

The title says it all. There seems to be some conflicting info out there and I was wondering if anyone has tested this.

I don't believe it will, similar to Tahm's W and other self-slows.

What you should check is item 3009 's interaction with self-slows.

item 3009 will decrease the slow on his E. Can confirm 100k+ mastery points

Tenacity should reduce the slow as well e.g. item 3111

Ok, it looks like some heavy testing is needed. I'll post findings if they are conclusive.
