Should I play ranked

So pretty much I played League a few years back and did really well with Master Yi and once got 27 kills and no deaths but then I stopped playing for years and came back recently but I never really bothered with ranked because I would get fairly good with a champion then get bored and try a new one but then I will have to get good with them first. I've been playing twitch for a while now and I'm enjoying him so far and getting better but I'm just wondering should I play ranked because ive been level 30 for a while now. Answers are appreciated

If you asked before dynamic queue, I would have said yes. Now, I can't even recommend people play this game at all.

Ranked play ranks your summoner+champion+lane performance publicly across multiple web sites. It is an e-sport where you become a stat-ified sports character with your performance history as a matter of record.

If that kind of fame is something you enjoy then yes. If your play style is best executed from anonymity then no.

The only real "draw" to ranked play is the system and more or less tells you how good you are. Personally, if I had to choose between ranked draft or normal draft, I'd choose ranked. Not because I care about my rank, but because normal games feel like you get nothing out of them. Even though ranked has very little meaning in terms of skill level anymore, it feels better knowing my wins or losses have more impact.
