Ryze gap finally closed !!

This season we've read of the challenge of balancing Ryze, who's laughably low win percentage has been the repeated topic of online jokes.

The challenge: close the gap between the intolerably high win percentage top players enjoyed (around 56%) and the ridiculously low win percentage new/unskilled players suffered with him (below 37%).

Congratulations are in order. op.gg shows that in the last month the gap has finally closed! True, losing players (Bronze) still manage only 37%, but the efforts of Riot have been rewarded. Platinum players wins are now 41% and the Diamond win rate with Ryze is down to 39%.

Mission accomplished. Looking forward to the next Nerf.

Ps. Congrats on the excellent work on Azir as well.

The increase in his E Cooldown hit him really hard. Before he was poor in teamfights (short range, has to setup with E to do optimal damage), but good in skirmishes and smaller scale fights, but with his longer cd on E he got nerfed in 1v1/2v2 skirmishes, and nerfed even harder for teamfights.

All because of his ult, which in solo q is generally used as an escape, but in competitive its used for LC$ bigplays so obviously he had to get gutted.
