An off-meta idea for Jinx
So, I'm a self-admitted meta-breaker, with mixed results. Recently, I've been looking at Jinx and her current kit (plus current items), and I've been curious about a most-likely questionable build.
Jinx's W, Zap!, has decent base damage and a great ratio, hitting rank 5 with 210 + 140% AD. Alongside this, it has great range despite being a single-target ability, and with 40% CDR, it has a 3.6 second cooldown (3.3 at 45%). So, I was wondering, maybe an AD and ArPen heavy build could be viable on her, even as a midlaner.
With the right build, items, and runes, it'd all blend together very well. Large attack speed steroid keeps her autos relevant, rockets let her poke from far away for relatively little cost, and her W would hit like a truck. With it's attached slow and reveal, it could also let her team get sneaky engages. Her traps find the same use as usual, and her ultimate would be just as useful for sniping, if not more due to ignoring large chunks of armor.
I understand that the single-target thing is an issue, but with it's thin hitbox it'd be easy to squeeze it through minions. The only other issue is the mana cost, which she still shares with other long-range poke options.
I'd like to hear other opinions on the idea, even though I'm eventually going to test it regardless. Insights, criticisms, or suggestions for the build would be greatly appreciated.
