I played her as free champion week a couple of weeks ago, and I looked up her and found many "She's getting nerfed in 5.18," "She's a bit on the OP side," "Riot please nerf." Since now she's nerfed, do you think she is still viable? I saw the patch notes, and her skills and stats are changed. Can anyone tell me if this makes a major difference? I plan on buying her because I actually liked playing her based on the playstyle and viability she had at times.

N0rth Wind1 votes...which is fine, with Fiora you're supposed to kill without getting brought below 50% HP, or die altogether. She isn't supposed to tank through any damage unless she just completed her Grand Challenge (that's why her ult heal is so over the top).
Late game, if you build enough AD, you must be able to 4-5 shot enemy tanks with your R -- you should be able to do so flawlessly, or die immediately.
That's why having slightly reduced base defenses will not affect the good Fioras very much, but it will affect those that play like a fighter and abuse her E and mobility. It's good that her passive does negligible damage if you don't build AD.
