So, I started playing Orianna and try to learn and master her, and I've seen most high elo players take Ghost, and I never understood why? Not on Orianna alone but on most Mages, I've always thought barrier was better.
Can someone explain why Ghost is better than Barrier? or clear stuff up?
SchmidttyGames2 votesMovement Speed is always a momentum changer. Ghost is effective for engaging and escaping, so the more aggressive mechanical players will use it as a tool to surprise people with speed or to simply walk away when it gets to hot.
Barrier is totally defensive. You can also consider Cleanse as well, as the Cleanse/Flash combo can typically save you from any gank as long as you don't bone the flash. Cleanse is surprisingly underestimated in the new era of "everyone has a CC!".
