Leblanc Revert Rant

I revisited league of legends recently after a long break. And I liked Leblanc rework, learning how to play new Leblanc kept me in this game for 2 weeks. She was mechanically different from old Leblanc and I liked it. I'm the "guy" who play mechanically hard champions/heroes in every moba. So I played her after revert yesterday, and was greatly disappointed. Maybe she become fun for some one to play in short term, but she is differently lost her fun to play aspect in long term. The is almost nothing new for me to learn and master anymore, she basically went to 2011-2012 state for me when I was actively playing league.

I was unaware of hate rework received until now. And I'm failing to understand reasons behind " the revert". Maybe rework wasn't ideal, but it definitely had a good sides. I liked it for the most part, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone here.

The rework was a nightmare to balance. When it was good(i dont mean good as in op just viable) it was super oppressive to play against and had to be nerfed immediately, when it was bad, noone liked playing it. Leblanc managed to get her W dmg nerfed by 70% and still somehow became viable through the gunblade build (which they also nerfed, lol). So tldr: impossible to balance and was more unfun to play as and against.

Gunblade was never good at Le blanc GETTING TIRED OF THIS STUPID PROPAGANDA.

you would end up double procing 1050 gold item and having dumb fking powerspike

She was nightmare because this 2 items item 3100 item 3145 BUT THEN AGAIN the only time you had to worry about Le blanc is if you were facing me.

I do agree that Riot had no idea how to balance her... but thats a seperate issue. Their incompotence shouldnt be an excuse for rework

No thats not true. Gunblade after the W nerfs and passive buffs were godly on her. It made her heal so much from clearing waves and since her W didnt do any dmg, the gunblade synergysed with the E (slowing them so you can get in tether range) or finishing of your target. Nobody built lichbane, it was gunblade>morellos.

I abused spellwamp to - Its called 15% ravenous hunter which was more then enough

Reggardless of that how often do you see assassins building sustain? When do Zeds, Talons get sustain? When does Zoe get sustain. Even best rivens on every server avoid sustain like plague

My build is strictly better splitpushing build because you melt towers in 4 seconds via double lichbane procs. My build is strictly better at bursting to a point you dont need a chain. Just proc lichbane 3 times within 1.5 seconds, hextech revolver twice and you can one shot from 1600 range

Nobody built lichbane? Thats not true because there were people who were constantly adding me and copying me. But even then low% of people build it

I HATE GUNBLADE LE BLANCS THE MOST BECAUSE DUE TO THEIR POOR LACK OF SKILL LE BLANC GOT REVERTED. HURR DURR WE HAVE TO BUILD EHM THIS AD LIFESTEAL ITEM (WHICH YOU DONT I WAS BEST EXAMPLE) WTF RITO YOU DID TO LE BLANC CHANGE HER... AND SO SHE GOT REVERTED while I can only cry

No you are right she became a Drain tank support with the rework I guess me literaly diving 5 people from 1400 range killing 1 target and getting out screams support drain tank playstlye

It doesnt mather how Riot decides to CLASSIFY HER

If ADC is just alone and I am within 1400 range he dies in 99% cases If ADC was just there with support it worked around 85% of a time. I was caught and died 5% of a time If an adc was sourunded by his entire team it worked around 70% of a time. I was caught and died 10% of a time If an enemy team had Lulu It dropped to around 55% of a time because I had to use mimic in excact time she polymorphs so that she polymorphs clone which was tricky. 5% of a time lulu player struggled to even press on me

Often times I didnt have to proc passive

The double lichbane revolver on hits electrocute + fast q was enough

If we are talknig about a Le blanc player who is not me like Faker or whatever lcs player yes he would die to adc in a such percentage to a point he wouldnt even dare to try.

Not my fault they had weak damage builds

Just because you didn't like gunblade leblanc doesnt mean it was not good. It just means you don't like it. Obviously if you went a splitpush sustain build you aren't trying to oneshot with her. Stop fucking throwing a hissy fit just cause people played her different.

Yes my build was so horrible at splitpushing. GOT YA... procing 3 lichbane procs on tower within 1.5 seconds is horrible for splitpushing YEAHHH SURE

Ravenous hunter was core so no thank you I wont build AN ITEM WHICH GIVES FKING AD JUST TO GET SOMETHING I CAN ALREADY ACCESS WITH FKING RUNES. AND IF YOU WANT DEATHFIRE REPLACEMENT LICHBANE DID 2X TIMES BETTER JOB THEN GUNBLADE

you nearly saw no lb going lichbane. Maybe some players went for gunblade as it gave 10%cdr and was cheaper but still gunblade was realy good on her. Basicly a light version of deathfire grasp. Also her sustain in alne as q counted as single target even if it proced multiple targets was insane with it.

She actually became a Hidden God tier champion because in that patch they were changing how clones works (doing some shaco work) they accidently allowed le blanc clone to proc hextech Revolver and Lichbane

Shaco clone also procs trinity (This is why some shacos build trinity the rest are stupid copy cats)

LeBlanc is simply not skilled anymore. I agree, I received a skin for her, tried her out and loved her. She was so much more skilled than this one shotting crap we have now.

Le blanc is still top 5 most difficult champions to master Reworked le blanc was however top 3 in my opinion (along there with Yasuo , Riven, ryze was 4th Azir 5th for those wondering)

Wait le blanc, riven and azir are difficult? When did champions who have completely forgiving kits become difficult just because of some mechanics needed to make a cool play.

Because this is also a part of powerbudget / winrate

Having forgiving kit only means that you have to abuse the fact that it is forgiving Having an ability to make cool plays only means that you have to abuse it

Le blanc is a safe champion? Yet You see the #1 lb world play her like a maniac diving inside 5 people killing 1 and getting out

Safety is part of a powerbudget. You have to abuse it

Le blanc can play out a fight in so many ways that you could analyze for an hour what would be a correct play (Well I need mili seconds) Riven can play out a fight in so many ways that you could analyze for an hour what wasnt the best animation cancel or what could be a better mini dash angle etc

Generaly a champions with bunch of ways to approach a scenario are highskillcap

Azir can literaly shurima slide shuffle in 50 ways every time you see someone do it one way

Let me ask you what champion do you find difficult?

Ofcourse you are not alone. Opinions are never alone. Still there is a diffrence fi 80% of lb players liked the old, now reverted one and jsut 20% the reworked, now gone lb. And yes, the rework was kinda mechanical. But not that much. The ult on the reworked one gave her absicly a free escape as you could always use rw if you wanted. And waiting 1.5s all time hadn't much to do about being an assassinw hich lb originaly was, it made her more to a combomage. Ofcourse lb now still has tow ait 1.5s for chain to proc but she still can assassinate. And on the other side her dmg is not that much frontloaded as prerework so even lb enemies should be ok with that. If you think she is not mechanical enough for you than play kata, lee sin, riven,y asuo, zed: there are plenty of posibilities. the leblanc revert is like the rengar revert for the common good.

I hated the fact that it wasnt codded like pyroclasam (didnt keep bouncing if target died)

And at times when you W and then Q 0.00001 seconds to early... YES it was as tilting as missing siege minion

Her current waveclear however is ultra garbage and ussualy requires ultimate. The only time her waveclear is good when you get ludens and you arent to far away from level 9, this is mainly due to Riot minion tankiness changes
