Ranked - is it fair?

If I don't have my team and I play with random guys, I can be like a Faker, but'll never reach more than Bronze 3. Number of bad players is enormous. Our ranks are based on number of our wins-very bad method. Someone, who's got his own team, is privileged. It's not all black and white, logic zero or one, win or defeat, it's more grey.

Jim is very bad player, but he is gold division because he has good team, his own team. Jam is very good player, but he is silver division because Jam doesn't have his own team, just random players who are usually very bad. Is Jim better player than Jam just because Jim has better team(his own-not random)? What's the purpose of divisions? They describe a player or team?

Judging an individual player solely off of win/loss in a team game will never be fair or accurate.

Exactly. Riot doesn't listen to the community though. Sadly. It's 100 percent not black and white. Great point.

are you serious? the divisions describe how to treat league to the T, just like the ranking for any other game. I ended in B1, my accound recently perma banned, and like you I feel like I can carry my own to great heights, and like you I feel like in ranked games people do bring me down. But its only happening because I'm letting it. Think about it, youre calling them bad now but you know there's going to be a point in your day where youre going to be above calling them bad, and at that moment carrying potential that could make you better than faker.

IF YOU WANT TO CLIMB THE LADDER QUEUE WITH A FRIEND WHO MAINS ANOTHER LANE THAT YOU DONT. only play ranked matches with that friend, evne if you have 500 loses you can get 200 wins and be gold+

According to the definition of fair yes, ranked is fair. Based on your post fair is not the word you're trying to use.

Fair is a very unkind concept after all. It puts everyone into the same situation, and some climb to the top where as others get shit on. Different people get different results, which is perfectly acceptable within the concept of fair.

Based on your post you're not looking for a fair chance at climbing. You want an equal chance, not a fair chance. Equality in this context would mean either unfairly elevating yourself up or unfairly keeping others down in order to provide equal footing across the board.

Matchmaking matches two teams and tries to keep things fair. It tries to keep the number of premade allies on each team equal, and tries to give each team the same average skill. It keeps things relatively fair if you think these are good enough concepts to base the matchmaking system on.

What I'm saying here is you're one of many in that enormous number of bads. You don't get to play above them because you haven't earned that right.

Focus on fixing your own mistakes only and you'll climb out of bronze. It's been done millions of times before you, and you won't be the last to finally figure this out. Improve yourself and you'll do well.

It's a simple concept that far too many people cannot accept. Do you honestly think Faker can't carry a low bronze game by himself? If you do then you couldn't be more wrong.
