New IP/Blue Essence System

So, I just got done watching the new revamped system, and it got me thinking. Wouldn't the new system give less Blue Essence because the new system give you a capsule whenever you level up. Another question is since you merged the rune pages and masteries, does it mean you can only have two runes/masteries page without having to buy more. This would cause a hindrance as I main multiple champions and need different sets of masteries for each. ¯_(ツ)_/¯? Also, for the new IP/BE system... I may have a solution, maybe the level resets back to level one every time someone reaches level 30, but an icon, like a star or a metal orb (Like bronze, silver, etc.), would be part of their profile? Tell me what you think and cya guys on the Rift :)!!! [vlad-salute]

We dont know the rewards for leveling up and how they are going to balance Blue essence gain rates. You can have as many runepages as you want however they still cost the same and they can be now edited during champion select. And in a reddit post a red said they tested a prestige system and didnt like it or something.

It's hard to tell, but yes, it will probably give less BE. But you shouldn't need as much BE as before, since you don't have to buy Runes anymore.

Two things: 1/ If you main multiple champs, even currently, you should need different sets of Runes for each, so you should already need more than two Rune Pages, so the new system isn't worse than the current one. 2/ Anyway, you'll be able to edit your Rune Page in Champion Select, like you're currently able to edit your Masteries, so you really just need one. It's convenient to have more Pages set-up in advance, but it's not a necessity anymore.

"Instead of getting IP after every game, you’ll receive an unlocked chest—called a capsule—every time you level up."

It seems you wont get BE for games, but only for chests from levelups or mastery. And the higher your level, the less BE you will get, since they plan on giving higher levels more cosmetic stuff like emotes and icons.

That means - it will take longer and longer to get BE, since each next level will be harder to get you wont get as much BE at higher level, because you will get cosmetics

tldr - forget about geting champs every month, it will take more and more each time

i am pretty certain that they aren't going to give you less BE the higher your lvl is. The only thing i took away from what they said was that from lvls 1-30 you are getting champion shards (that you can just disenchant for extra BE) from the lvl up capsules along with some BE and that after lvl 30 instead of champion shards you get more cosmetic stuff while still getting BE. How much BE you get from each lvl up is unknown and how much EXP is needed to reach anything lvls 31+ is also unknown. There is also the fact that mastery chests still are a thing and those can also drop BE or things you can disenchant for BE
