That's the issue of wanting to play the best role in the game, I always put ADC and Mid second since that's the best way to get ADC all the games, I dont remember the last time that I got my second role.

Only jungle is better in that regard, but jungle in its current state has the disadvantage of pretty much requiring you to pick an early game champion, so you fall off later on in the game, while mid champions remain relevant throughout all of it. Maybe it's not outright the best role, but it certainly comes close.

etc. They have nothing to do with a role being good or not, what makes the role impactful is the way the role works, Mid can roam to any lane easily and helps the jungler, Jungle is in charge of the global pressure and objectives. That's why those 2 roles are the best in the game, not because of the champions that are played there.

You can do the research yourself, I'm basing my info off op.gg, where ezreal has a pick rate in bot lane of 50%, Aatrox and Irelia have 14% and 11% Pick rate in the top lane, to name a few. Take a look for yourself and you'll see. Also for the record, Lux has a 10% pick rate as support and 3% in the mid lane, so even that you got wrong. I don't need to prove anything to you as you have the right to have your opinion, as factually wrong and biased as it may be, so yeah.

that's ranked stats in plat elo + which are 10% of player base and only ranked solo duo , which doesn't even cover 5% of matches in the game Popularity is about how popular the champion is in all game modes.

Personally I run Mid/Fill or Mid/Supp quite often on my main account and get mid a solid 80%+
On this account I run Mid/Top and get mid a solid 70%+.
Interesting how varied the results are across multiple players. I honestly can't remember the last time I didn't get mid on my main account. Other than the occasional autofill after a dodge or something.
Then again, if I get Jungle/either botlane role I usually just say "Any chance Mid/top would be willing to swap with me?" And I almost always end up in the role I wanted to get.

This one's a new side account, I used to have a ranked account I haven't touched in a lot of time, used to be gold and got autofilled mid more often than I would like there. Put in adc/sup or adc/jungle.
