Veteran dota2 player changing to league

Hey, so after a long time of my friends playing this game (I've played a little on this account off and on, level 20) I've finally decided to quit dota fully and switch to league. I'm curious to know what a higher Elo player should mechanically know to be put into that rank. To put it into perspective I'm a 5k mmr dota player which is the top 0.01%, I've found league relatively easy despite my lacking champion knowledge, I've managed to score consistent s-, s and s+ in my league games which I'm usually queuing with friends ranging from bronze-gold.

The aim is to start ranked as soon as possible as I'm hoping to have decent elo, I believe my only lacking knowledge is champion abilities (how to counter) every game I'm playing so far I can effectively learn a new champion and an opponent quickly.

Tl;dr what are some pointers for winning games, lanes etc.

As a 0.01% dota player I already have great map awareness, itemization knowledge and csing ability.. what can I add to my current skills to ensure I'll enter into high elo?

Maybe during your free time, study up on League. You seem to have the mechanics already, you just need the burden of Knowledge.

Nothing else League doesn't have dota lvl of macro with stacking/pulling/runes/tp scroll or anything like that, play the game a few time and you will realise it

if you had 5k mmr in dota then welcome to high elo in league

I would say common counters like Ahri vs Zed/Talon/LeBlanc/Fizz or Ashe vs Vayne/Lucian/Varus/Twitch. Not sure what it's like in Dota 2 as I've played like 3 games, but every champion in the game has at least one hard counter, a number of soft counters, and strengths.

One thing to note is, while there are counters, oftentimes skill and cheap tactics can overcome challenges of a hard counter lane. IE, Riven one tricks against Darius. 9/10 Darius should win, yet there are one tricks that can win lane against them by playing the lane right.

well in dota if your hard countered there's really no way for you to "one trick" to win the lane, having things like 3-4second reliable stuns etc makes comeback much more likely which I've noticed league doesn't really have.

I haven't seen many comebacks in league from a stomp, however in dota that can happen, quite a lot.

Gameplay wise I've been maining Aniva and velkoz mid with the odd victor game, I've had matchups where I've been against a cass or yasuo and usually just afk farm till the laningstage is over and proceed to stomp them mid game when they over extend

Comebacks can happen, though it requires the enemy team making a mistake or your team playing perfect (one example is we were pushed to nexus, their carry is just slightly out of position, I get a nice leona blade and burst and they all fall down like dominoes.)
